Fifteen years after qualifying in medicine, Dr Annelize Meyer is an experienced general practitioner as well as a highly accomplished cosmetic medical clinician. Her natural search for scientific answers, combined with the needs of patients treated in her anti-ageing/cosmetic clinic, has led her to adopt an integrative medical approach. This has redirected and enhanced the service medical patients can expect, while supporting the cosmetic and anti-ageing treatment. Having entered cosmetic medicine eight years ago, Dr Meyer has gained a reputation for excellence through a combination of natural aptitude, and first-class training. She has trained with some of the world’s leading practitioners including Dr Mauritzio de Mayo from Brazil, Dr Koen de Boele from Belgium and Dr Arthur Swift in Canada. Under her direction The Bosham Clinic has been taking part in FDA approval clinical trials, and she is a regular advisory board member for the use of Botox. She has been appointed in 2011, as a local country ambassador (LCA) and trainer for Allergen, one of the worlds leading cosmetic companies. Post graduate qualifications obtained in England include General practice vocational training, Diplomas in Family Planning, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as Clinical Dermatology (Distinction). She is a member of the Independent Doctors Federation, and an associate member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors. Eschewing the ‘see and be seen’ world often associated with cosmetic and private medicine, Dr Meyer is noted for her discretion and quality, while continuously striving to maintain the high-level of service and experience that her patients have come to expect.
